Yes R-ruh, You Are Going To Jail-NSFW

For SIX years we have been waiting for this trial. R-ruh says it isn't him in the tape, the girl, now 23 says it isn't her in the tape either, but the tape is what we have.

Check out this video: the boondocks(R.Kelly tape)

Now for six years I heard people talk about this trial, about how innocent R-ruh is. Accusing the girl of tricking him and being "fast" for letting a grown man pee on her.

People forget-HE WAS MARRIED TO AALIYAH when she was 15!!!! Her parents had to annul the marriage. You knew his ass had pedophile tendencies. Why was he getting to cruise the high schools for victims? Why Oh Why, are people, particularly in the black community giving him a free pass and accusing the woman (then girl) of trapping him and bringing a brother down. Just because you like the Feelin on Yo Booty Song, the Ignition song, and Trapped In The Closet Parts 1-85,does not mean he isn't guilty!!!!!!!!

I've never been a fan of his, and I don't see why he still garners the support he does. I hope the prosecution is able to put his ass behind bars, where he belongs!

i have nothing constructive to say except that no matter the decision, his image is forever tarnished.

i'm not going to lie though, i was hooked on that trapped in the closet mess.

Unfortunately, too many people let the underage/older man thing slide. The majority of pregnant teens are pregnant by men in their 20s and 30s, so in some communities this behavior is NORMAL. When I was a kid it was quite normal; my parents moved us the hell away from there (for many reasons; that was just one of them).

Emeritus - I heard about the trapped in the closet thing from a coworker who watched it all with her kids. She talked about it like it was sooo riveting. I was like, "I don't want to see that man talking about this nasty ish ..." but her eyes would get round like saucers when she talked about it. I wondered if they'd experimented with spraying crack as a fine white mist through the tv speakers or something ....

I hope he does go to jail. Seriously I am in shock that no one seems to care about this girl, or his tendencies to cruise high schools.

I watched it too. ::hangs head in shame::

But I youtubed it, I didn't buy it, so it made me feel a little bit better. He got no financial gain from my need to watch the ongoing drama.

LOL he and Michael Jackson some of the most musically talented child molestors out there.

I so don't understand that. When my parents parents found out, they shrugged it off saying Elvis was married to a 13 year old. Like Elvis being a perv offsets R. Kelly. I was in such shock. I think often times I don't mention my abuse to them for that very reason. I don't think they could understand.

Emeritus and Sid,
I absolutely hated the 1st 5trapped in the closet and refused to watch that ishnit after that.

No, no, no, it wasn't Elvis married to a 13 year old - it was the Great Balls of Fire guy who was married to a 13 year old (his cousin). AND IT RUINED HIS CAREER.

And, fwiw, I do NOT think MJ is guilty of child molestation. The psychologists who looked at the child don't think he is, either. That kids' parents are just crazy. I withheld opinion for a long time (who cares! what's it to do with me), but after reading some stuff from the psych. it totally sounds like an extortion job.

But Mike does have some issues!

Sid,

Your parents don't know that you were abused?

"he is one talented child molester".

LOL! I was never that much a fan but his ass belongs behind bars. And I was very dissappointed by the support he got fromthe BC. He was up for some award by the NAACP. Anyone remember that?

Hey Siditty. I just discovered your blog! It's good. That 2nd Boondocks clip was a riot, especially the part where the kid says "If someone tried to pee on me, I move the way. She just sat there." I have the banned BET episode at my blog (the right side under Kit's Picks) if you haven't seem them. Hilarious.

Anyway, R. Kelly wasn't a 14 year old boy sexually experimenting with a 13 year old girl. That nigga was OLD. Lock his azz up for having sex with her. Maybe that'll break him of his cradle-robbing habits.

Oh I forgot about Jerry Lee Lewis. But how old was Priscilla when her and Elvis got married. She lived with him for a year before they got married and they claimed they never did anything until after marriage. They met when she was like 14 or something I think (per Wikipedia).

There are lots of famous pervs out there LOL

In terms of MJ. I honestly think that MJ in his mind felt he was completely normal, but I think he was inappropriate with children, maybe not overtly, but there is something there. I think he suffers from fame too young. No one has ever set limits and boundaries with him. He was never told no, and so if he asks someone to spend the night or have some Jesus Juice, in his mind it is ok. I think MJ is mentally ill due to his father (alleged abuse) and his lifestyle from a young age. Look at how the man acts, his plastic surgery, how he dresses, and how he tries to convince the world those 100% white children are his.

I fear for MJ, I really do.

Grata:

I will take the truth to the grave with me when it comes to that. No one needs to know the details, and in the current situation with my parents adopting my cousin's kids, it isn't necessary to add that burden to them. As that could put a strain on those relationships, and not at the fault of those kids.

I hate to admit this....but I actually saw the video back in 2003 or 04. I went to a get together my friends' cousin was having and got there late. And everyone was watching the bootleg version. On a big screen TV. It was like a bad train wreck, where you know it's wrong to stare-but you can't help but look. It was him-1000%-he even did the camera adjustment like in the boondocks skit. Put the thing right on his face, so he could be seen. Looked dead into the camera like one of the guys in the old skool pornos do. He is nasty- it was nasty- and I felt nasty for watching it. I kinda stopped keeping up with him after the public announcement cd, and 12 play. I'm suprised it took this long to go to court.

I believe her and R-ruh did it on the downlow while she was working on her 1st album with him. Once they found out, they fixed it with a quickness.

In terms of watching that tape. I remember it was all over the internet back in the day, and I was too scared to watch it for fear it would be considered child porn and I would go to jail.

Sid,

I understand the burden part, one of my sisters went through the same thing and she holds us all accountable, even me the youngest, and I resent her for it, but where were your parents when all this happened? (you don't have to answer. Just wondering)

Grata:

My parents aren't accountable for what happened. This happened in the hands of family members. At sleep overs, family functions. I will never blame my parents, they didn't do it, nor did they threaten to kill me if I ever told. I don't blame my aunts and uncles, excluding one. They had no clue.

All I am gonna say is that R Kelly is innocent until proven guilty, and when they find him guilty I hope they put him away for a LONG time.

Does anyone remember Aaliyah with the crooked eye?

Anyways... I wonder if Aaliyah were alive, would she be called to testify?

MJ... Just to be fair MJ is probably the subject of alot of targeting. Everyone thinks he's a child molester, so just accusing MJ you would automatically have the oportunity to get a settlement check. Thats not to say MJ isn't a child molestor, He is one creepy dude and I wouldn't let my kids around him. I am just saying that MJ isn't the only twisted person out there.

Elvis and Priscilla met when she was 17. They got married when she was 22. She says they never had sex until their wedding night, but did mess around before that. Apparently he had to go through quite the rigamarole with her parents to even see her. She lived with his parents for a while before they got married and went to school.

I think R Kelly will probably not go to prison. I have never seen the video of him, but the charges against him have been reduced. He's not even charged with having sex with a minor - he's charged with producing the tape or something like that. And it's problematic that the girl won't admit to being in it, and her parents say it's not her in the tape. All I can say is - R. Kelly has some VERY GOOD representation because it's been six years and he's not seen the inside of a jail for even a minute.

According to here , here, and here. Priscilla met Elvis at 14 and started spending time with him at that age.
She admits prior to getting married they did fool around, but waited until they were married to officially consumate the relationship.

In terms of R. Kelly. I don't think he will get off this time. The tape is damning and his history with accusations in the past is suspect. She has family members on both sides. Some saying it is her, others saying it is not. It is sad to me though a parent would think that was acceptable. I have a feeling R. Kelly paid them off. I really hope he didn't do that to a child, but the tape and his previous history makes it hard for anyone to say he is 100% innocent.

got mad love 4 the Boondocks! and, h sofia....you are SO right! pairings or "relationships between older men and adolescents/girls have been NORMALIZED in the BC from waaay back (check "The Color Purple" for a reference)....in fact, I think it was for breeding (yep, breeding) purposes during slavery....and what do we do, once free? yep, we keep doing the same jacked up beyond belief isht that we've been taught....

....just makes me wretch....

and, the kicker? some BW will tell a younger BW to get with an older man 'cos he's got $$$....don't matter if it's SSI or a pension....get that $$$

I never understood why everyone seemed to stay on his jock after that video came out... "what happened to standards", indeed? I made the mistake of suspending my misanthropy and lack of faith in humanity for a moment and assumed that there would be an immediate backlash against him in the court of public opinion, and people just kept buying his CDs like nothing happened!
