My husband makes fun of my childhood crush on David Bowie, it baffles him how I or any other woman could find him attractive I saw Labyrinth, I fell in love.
Siditty! You are not alone... I remember Labyrinth (lawd, I'll have to go watch it again...lol) I adored David Bowie...Sting...Duran Duran...lol But it was my secret...hahaha! It might have been the blonde hair too, because I have a soft spot for blondes and blue-eyes...lol
I almost died and went to heaven when I saw Let's Dance was in the home version of DDR Supernova.
I don't get my mom's crush on him (it's creepy like her love for Prince and Jeff Goldblum), but we agree that "Fame" is a fucking jam. His records were always in rotation when I was little.
Bowie's become a lot more reclusive since he had his heart trouble. I guess I'd hide too if my meds were blowing me up. I enjoyed his role as Tesla in "The Prestige." Labyrinth was one of the scariest movies I'd ever seen as a kid. I am not down with characters, human or otherwise, throwing their heads around. It scar-eth the pre-school mind.
I loved Duran Duran and Sting too. When I was little my crushes were always the blond ones in the band, when it came to musicians. I don't know when I changed to the dark haired preference I developed later on down the line. I guess I should re-evaluate my preferences because come to think of it, aside from lil' michael jackson era Alfonso Ribeiro (even though I loved RIcky Schroeder more) and Eddie from family matters, pretty much all my celebrity crushes growing up where white guys in bands. Old white guys in bands too. David Bowie is older than my momma and daddy.
My preferences have expanded over the years, but alas I am married and not allowed to explore with those preferences LOL ---------

I LOVE PRINCE AND JEFF GOLDBLUM. Seriously I am a freak of nature. I like androgynous men like Prince and David Bowie. But hey they pull the beautiful girls, so I am not the only freak. I don't even know why I find Jeff Goldblum attractive, but I get a little flutter in my stomach when I see him in a movie LOL

My husband is freaked out he has a weird messed up eye, and that is one of the things I find attractive about him.
