I truly hope you are right. I know that security was upped for him on the campaign trail because this was a fear. I do hope that people will focus on the economy and the war instead of his color, but I get less and less optimistic about that each and every day.
Very disturbing, but right now he's probably got more Secret Service agents on him than the current President. I'd read that he's had more death threats than any other candidate. There are some fruitcakes out there, for sure.

Don't forget that Reagan was shot in the 80s. All it takes is one crazy person.

That postcard is pathological; reminds me of the lynching photos white people used to send each other as postcards.
