If this ain't love, I don't know what is:
Also Life On Mars, the new to the US show has a kind of IR on it. I say kind of IR because Lisa Bonet is half black, but I count it as IR because she played a all black child on the Cosby Show :)
A better preview on the show:

i'm pretty sure Life On Mars was a UK show first :-S...hmmm
Yes is was a UK show...hmmm, interesting american version.
I think i've already said this before, but last year i asked my white rich spoilt half swedish guy-friend what he thought of IRs quite randomly and he said "Why are they IR ? They are just relationships"

Yes it was, I have seen it on BBC America, that is why I said it was new to the US
Hi There! I recently joined the Blogs by Black Women RingSurf. I'm excited about meeting other African American women bloggers. I invite you to visit Sojourner's Place. The doors are always open there.
And just a reminder, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Come by and let us know when you got yours (smile).

Great clips!
Napoleon Dynamite, a modern comedy classic!
Wow. Going by that second preview, it looks like they changed up the whole cast of Life on Mars except for the main star. The relationship in ND annoyed me. Actually that whole fricking annoyed the heck out of me. The only part I liked was the part with the Lowrider. The chick's ghettofabulous name annoyed me and I was seriously perturbed by her making the guy into a little imitation thug as though bw would want to turn the wm they date into caricatures of bm stereotypes. Not cute.
Hi SJP, welcome :)

Yan,
ND is one movie either you love or hate. I will say I loved it, I am a dork though. I saw it twice at the movie theatre, the second time to see the extra bonus clip.
In terms of Lafawnduh, I just thought it was funny she didn't run when she saw Kip and that Kip was ready to fully embrace the "thug" lifestyle to keep his woman.
Maybe so. I still can't see it as anything but a version of that persistent claim that "black women only turn to white men when they can't get a black man and that's STILL what they really want even then,".
I LOVED ND... but I am also a dork who loves indie comedies. I really liked the relationship between Kip and Lafawndah, even though it did perpetuate some stereotypes. But the fact that the directors of the movie, who are Mormons, decided to showcase an IR relationship between a black woman and a white man in a positive light lightened my heart a bit.
Dana,
It's ok, I am a dork too :) I loved this movie.
