Because I truly do love Tears For Fears
I have loved Roland Orzabel and Kurt Smith since 3rd grade. Literally. One of my first tapes was "Songs From The Big Chair" (I think my first tape ever was the Go Gos "Vacation") . I even had the "The Seeds Of Love" poster on my wall in middle school and high school. Pretty much after about 10th grade, I lost track of Tears For Fears. I wonder what happened. "Mad World" is an awesome song, even though now everyone knows the Gary Jules version now.
I absolutely adore Tears for Fears! '80s pop at its best!(along with Wham!, Duran Duran etc) Everybody Wants To Rule The World is my fave of theirs, although I love 'em all They separated for about 10 years(around that) but had a song out a few years ago; http://youtube.com/watch?v=PjQwJZN4Rfo
lol...I loved Tears For Fears...of course Everybody Wants To Rule The World was my song...remember when they played it at the end of the movie that Val Kilmer (another 80's hottie) was in "Real Genius"? I loved that movie just for the part at the end when they played the song! Remember Ah-Ha? Was'nt the lead singer fine? lol...don't get me going...
Real Genius was an AWESOME flick. I think Val Kilmer is a freaking awesome actor.
The best song by tears for fears is Shout. I don't care! I can usually listen to the other side of the argument except this one. If you don't think its there best song then you are just wrong... LOL J/K but anyways it is my favorite.
"And when you have taken down your guard, I'd really love to break your heart"
Great lyrics!!!
Considering I hate pretty much hate all things 80's including Ronald Reagan. Tears for Fears was one of those simple joys to listen to.
Tears for Fears is one of my favorite singing bands of the 80s. I love the 80s. Always will. Wham! Duran Duran, Madonna, Rick Ashely, Peter Gabriel, Phil Collins (Genesis). Just to name a few.

Tears for Fears greatest moment was making it as a lyric in an OutKast song.
