Though I knew OBAMA was going to win, this is still a profound moment for me (and frankly I don't know what to do with myself)! For two years we have been shouting, "YES WE CAN!" and now we can proudly say, "YES WE DID!"
Yes we can't pretend Obama is going to cure all ills of society, but we do know he has to be smart, as he will be scrutinized heavily, especially from the right.

I've turned into a water faucet. In a span of 50 or 60 years blacks went from fighting for the right to vote to having a "black" president.
Now it's time to get down to the real work.
