To Prince: What Was Really The Difference?

LOL! Is it just me or do Susan and Vanity's faces look really strange in that bottom picture? I think it's an "artist's rendering" as they say. I love that one V6 song, 3x2=6 and also Wet Dream.
Cool fact: I live in the same neighborhood as Vanity, who now goes by her true name Denise.
Other than Vanity (half black) being much prettier than Apollonia (some kind of hispanic) and having slightly better songs ("Pretty Mess", "He's So Dull","Nasty Girls", and "Seventh Heaven")?? There was very little difference.
I loved Vanity when I was in middle school. I thought she was so so so so so so pretty. She didn't look biracial to me either. I just thought she was a light skinned black woman. I agree with Anon at 6:46am. She was much prettier than Appolonia. I wonder why Prince used Appolonia in Purple Rain and not Vanity?
I am happy to know that Vanity or Denise is doing so well. She spoke at a church when I was younger, I heard a long time ago that she had turned her life over to God. I hope she is happy.
Vanity and Prince had a falling out, Vanity was supposed to be in Purple Rain, and was supposed to open for Prince during the Purple Rain tour, but Apollonia replaced Vanity in the movie, and since Apollonia couldn't really sing, the tour was scrapped. Apparently Vanity's drug use was bad and caused a falling out, that and she felt she needed more money to be in Purple Rain.
Side note, Susan Moonsie (the girl with the long hair) in Vanity/Apollonia 6, was Prince's girlfriend, but then Vanity and Prince started dating.
I loved Vanity because she was in the Last Dragon movie. Or maybe I just wished I was in her place having the shy yet ridiculously gorgeous Bruce Leroy (Taimak) saving me and running around shirt less.
I listen alot to early Prince at the moment (Dirty Mind, Controversy, 1999 and Purple Rain) and also Sheila E (Love Bizarre is an amazing song). So it was nice to see this post about Vanity and Appolonia :-)

Vanity was a major league crackhead and shared a home/drug den with Nikki Sixx while they were engaged, although heroin was his drug of choice.
Vanity was prettier but Appolonia had more body.
Either way - I'd be good.
