It's not that bad. You're just suffering from the nostalgia blues. I have the same reaction to this remake of "FAME". Pop culture blasphemy, I call it.
I just saw Fame for the first time last year and loved it, now there is a remake. The first movie aged very well and I'm not sure how I feel about this one. The beautiful Naturi Naughton is in it but they don't show her much in the previews.
I'm 'ole school,but I agree with foreverloyal. As for the Fame remake, some things just need to be left alone. I haven't been overly impressed with any of the previews I've seen.
