I'm on bedrest this week, and my husband is cutting down the internet like a lumberjack. He maintains I can't be on the internet arguing with folks. So he is suggesting I focus on happy things like puppies and kitties.
Since this blog isn't about puppies and kitties, I will need a little break from it. But I will be back. Don't worry, he is also cutting down MSNBC and general discussions on politics and race as well.
I have some posts saved up in the meantime, and I will be attempting to monitor comments for posting.

Sorry to hear that. I subscribe to and enjoy reading your blog. My hubby is white also by the way and I like (selfishly, I suppose) knowing your out there representing, lol. Hope you enjoy your break, this can feel kinda "jobish" at times. I have a blog too so I feel the your pain. Take care.
It will only be while I on bed rest. I get to go to the hospital in 2 1/2 hours to put this baby on lock down. I will only be out of commission about a week. Hopefully!!!

Ha! Only the hubby's insistence could deter a tenacious blogger from fulfilling her duties. I'm sure if left to your own devices, you would be doing a live blog feed during labor (I'm assuming a child is on the way).

I think its a good course of action. Blogging can get negative so a mental rest is actually a good suggestion.

Will be sad to see you on hiatus, but it is for a great cause. Stress wears you out even if you aren't pregnant. Best wishes for you and your baby and I'm sure that everything will go smoothly.
Siditty I did not get to congratulate you and your hubby yet. So Congratulations to the little one on the way. I am so happy for you. I can definately understand your husband protecting both his babies.
I have to say. Those pics of the kittens and dogs had me talking to my computer. Oh my goodness such utter cuteness. I hope you don't mind. I used the last one as a screen saver. I already had the screensaver with two kittens in a cups. Too adorable.
