i know this isnt relevant to this post but: hey. im a 16 year old senior black girl originally from NY that now lives in a small town in alabama. and i have a new topic for you to post about. Today at school this very priveleged and intelligent white girl in my AP calculus class said that she was infuriated about how many scholarships there are for minorities. my jaw just dropped. i didnt know what to say; then the bell rang and i thought it was best to just run up outta there before i said something stupid. so basically the topic is ignorance of people [mainly white] that think racism and injustice is over. I dont know man. im just so upset and feelin a little mad about the ordeal.
It's not that a white journalist in America wouldn't do the documentary. The difference is the funding source. BBC funds numerous projects. Ruper Murdock's Fox, GE's NBC, Disney's Channel 7, they would not extend funds to a white journalist for a topic like this.
The small free independent presses would, but they just don't have the money.
@Menelik There is a bit of variety in the community of Black nationlists, yes. The connecting belief is simple - a nuclear family model of Black woman, man and their children will build and restore Black economies and cultures.

I knew the Black Israelites were nutty, but I never realized how nutty until I saw this. How'd he keep a straight face?

it seems you havea very narrow, and dare I say, bigotted view of what allegedly constitutes "Black Nationalism!
The fools in the vid are cultural nationalists rather than socio-political (Black) nationalists ala Malcolm x, Huey P Newton etc
