This video was stupid. The girl was walking minding her own business and these two fools grab her. Of coarse she doesn't want to talk to you. So he trips her. Great way to get her attention buddy.
I don't think Siddity see's herself that way. She has probably at some point been called that b/c she's mainly grown up around whites, is married to a white man and doesn't talk "black".

I found that pretty funny. I rarely watch rap videos because most of them are parodies of themselves and pretty unfunny. This one is hysterical. Thanks for the laugh!!! BTW, how are you feeling??
Lol - I think you are going to have to do a remix and change the words to your them song - I'm certain your not the 'siditty girl' they are rapping about :o)
What I got from the video (and I'm probably completely off-base, because I couldn't follow all the lyrics) is that the men are ticked off about being turned down by women. Specifically, men who look like the stereotypical doing-nothing, going-nowhere thugs are upset because women who look like the stereotypical do-anything-that's-rich, go-from-ghetto-to-mansion superskanks won't give them the time of day.
It seems like the men want the women to realize that they are equals--- as in, both the men and the women are "nothing", and the men resent these women wanting something "more".
I took the implication to be that a woman is siddity if she has aspirations above her station. The whole video had a "How dare you think you can do better than me?" feel to it.
Kala and Kristin, all that smart-mouth crap is unecessary. And as far as listening goes, I cannot listent to garbage like that that some people think is music.
