The other day, while twittering, I came across this photo. Now I knew right from the start this was a photoshop job. I couldn't imagine the Obama's wearing this in private, much less in public. Apparently, not everyone felt that way, some folks actually thought the photo was real. Enough so that the urban legend website Snopes, had to address the issue.
Why would anyone believe this to be true? I know it is believed that the Obama's are classless and don't deserve to be in the White House, but are we willing to believe they live the "Pimps Up, Hoes Down" lifestyle?

Again, this may be offensive and uncharacteristic of the readers of this blog, but there are so many blacks who perpetrate this lifestyle. What sense does it make to clutch our pearls in outrage when we need to be holding these morons for their own behavior?
It is unbelievable how desperate some people are to put others into boxes. Really? The President of the United States and the First Lady in these get ups?

I will admit for a few seconds before I read you post I thought it was real.
I saw it as gypsies being portrayed. Obviously I don't have the world lens of a lot of people.
I thought Michelle's stomach looked really nice. I now know that was a ridiculous idea.
They want to believe it... they are just waiting for an act of distaste...please I've never seen so much coverage of a presidential family. I know they used to do stuff to Bush's pictures but damn. Every move they make there's a picture documenting it.

I know, I know, I shouldn't have, but I chuckled at the photo, only because it was such a hot ghetto mess. But on the un-funny side, whomever made this image is reinforcing that whole "black is whack" mentality, not to mention a shameless mockery of those black people who utilize such a lifestyle as a means of identity: despite the frivolousness and seeming idiocy of the people that were sincere in that 1970s pimp-likeness, there were some individuals who were grounded in the lifestyle, by choice or by circumstance.

I'll admit I too thought Michelle had been putting in some overtime at the gym to get a tummy like that, but then I thought she was wearing the wrong size top and maybe needed a shawl or wraparound, anything to cover those puppies. Then I thought maybe it was a costume party or something. Right on the heels of that was there is no way they would stoop so low...now I feel bad I'd even entertain such thoughts about them: (
I hold the Obamas in very high regard, if a die hard fan can be so easily hoodwinked even for a second, I imagine their haters may firmly believe those pictures are real.
