Cee-Lo on Goodie M.O.B.'s "SOul Food" album single handedly opened my New Wave/Alternative loving self up to Hip-Hop. Till this guy all I had heard was Snoop, Dre, and House of Pain.

Cee-Lo, you are the Soul Machine you claim you are.

Thanks for posting this. I saw it briefly on a college TV and didn't know what it was about. Nice.

So much truth in this song & video! If our hearts could sing & dance, they'd probably look something like this...

One of my favorite all time videos. So intense, great body language. Haven't seen it in awhile, so thanks for posting it.

he (she) rips his heat out and then says "I treasure your friendship so much".

so close to the bone right now. Women so often can do that. I call it flipping the switch... that easy ability to slip from deep intimacy and love to expecting you to downgrade to friends like that. Expect that you'll even stick around while they introduce you to the next boyfriend. (hey you should be happy for her, right ?).

ah life, so hard sometimes. especially in matters of the heart.

btw Sid, I have kept lurking around the blog, just been so busy, but I'm glad to see you're keeping it up (and stirring it up) speaking your mind as ever...

Wait,

There is a subliminal message here, LOL!
What is this saying about BW/WM IRs? That BW can never truly love a WM?

Nice video! But the thing I like the most is the BW/WM couple :)

@SuperJV - It happens to us too.

Love the song and the concept of the video! I took it as meaning heartbreak sucks not that black women can't love a black man. :)

This video is so accurate, except my heart doesn't sing well at all.

That was an interesting video. At first I couldn't figure out if it was a commercial, a movie, or a video for the song.
